YOUTH, TEEN & FAMILY PROGRAMS
FREE FAMILY FUN NIGHTS
Monthly Family Nights – Every 2nd Tuesday
When: 2nd Tuesday of every month (August – May)
Time: 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
We will host a free family event on the second Tuesday of each month, featuring themed activities, games, and opportunities for families to connect. Check out the upcoming themes and stay tuned for more details!
Join us on April 8, 2025 for a free night of family fun for FAMILY OLYMPICS!
Free dinner included for the whole family! Please RSVP so we can ensure we have enough food. Join us for an action-packed evening of friendly competition and family fun! Each family will work together to complete exciting Olympics-style challenges. Plus, every completed activity gets you closer to winning raffle prizes. Bring the whole family for a night of laughter, teamwork, and fun. We can’t wait to see you there!

Monthly Teen Events & Clubs
Teen programs are for ages 10 and up. Free for members and $5 non members. Drop your teen off to participate in fun clubs – no need to bring anything. We provide snacks. Homeschool hangout -your child can do some work in a dedicated space and receive help if needed. Please join us for the following events:

Safe Sitter Class
SAFE SITTER/BABYSITTER CLASS
Prepare your teen for emergencies while home alone or babysitting. Safe Sitter® is a nationally recognized babysitting training program for students between the ages of 11-18. Please bring a notebook and sack lunch. Financial assistance is available.

Teen Night Out
TEEN NIGHT OUT
Where: Wabash County YMCA
Event Dates: Feb 14, March 7, April 11, and May 9th. 5 PM – 10:30 PM at the Y.
- Details: For ages 11-16. The events will feature different activities fun activities!
- Dinner and snacks will be provided.
- Cost: $20 for members and $30 for non-members.
If you have younger children we are offering parent night out the same evening!! Ages 11-16

Teen Spring Break Care
Join us for teen spring break camp! Drop them off from 9a-530p at the Y to enjoy fun field trips, swimming, hanging out in the teen room, video games, and more! We will go on field trips and these will be announced as we get closer to break care.

Price- Members $99 Non members $119

TEEN SUMMER DAY CAMP
ADVENTURE BEGINS HERE!
CAMP SPECIFICS:
DAYS/DATES: Mon-Fri, June 2-August 1st, 2025 (closed on July 4)
WHO: Grades 6th-10th
WHEN: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
FEE: YMCA Members – $119*/child/week Non-Members – $149*/child/week * $10 late registration fee if payment is not received the Thursday before the week of care

WHAT’S INCLUDED Breakfast, lunch, and a snack are provided Activities may include Honeywell Pool for swimming, field trips, movie days, teen hangout, STEM projects, video games, and more!
WHAT TO BRING tennis shoes required. Proper Attire: Clothing must be free from vulgarity and should not reveal undergarments, midriff, or torso. Bring a backpack or bag, bathing suit, towel, water bottle. Online completed participation packet is required. Must have a current Liability Waiver on file prior to participation. Financial assistance available. All dates, details are subject to change.
FIELD TRIPS
The cost for admission for each field trip is covered in camp fees. Teens will take field trips on Mondays and Wednesdays and go to Field of Dreams and Quaker Haven on Fridays
Week 1 – Power up, Junior Master Gardener, Botanical Gardens, Disc Golf, Field of Dreams
Week 2 – Combat Ops, Junior Master Gardener, Salamonie Hike, Honeywell Pool, Quaker Haven
Week 3- Timber Lake Zipline, Junior Master Gardener, France Park, Disc Golf, Field of Dreams
Week 4- Smiley’s (Mishawaka), Indians Game, Honeywell Pool
Week 5- Kokomo Beach, Disc Golf, Downtown Wabash
Week 6- Top Golf, Fever Game , Honeywell Pool
Week 7 – Mississinewa Lake, Junior Master Gardener, France Park, Disc Golf, Field of Dreams
Week 8 – White Rock/ Jojo’s, Junior Master Gardener, Center Lake , Honeywell Pool
Week 9- Grissom, Peru Splash Pad/Park, East End Ice Cream Junior Master Gardener, Fair Oaks Farm, Disc Golf
PAYMENT POLICY: DEPOSIT – A $10 per week, non-refundable deposit is required for each child. The non-refundable deposit is not eligible for financial assistance.
CAMP FEES – Camp fees are due for each week the Thursday before by 5:00 pm and must be made in the form of a scheduled automatic deduction via a bank draft or credit card. Beginning July 1st, 2025 there will be a 3% fee for credit card payments.
CANCELATION POLICY (All cancellations must be made in writing to Brittany Burnett) 14+ days before camp date = 100% refund (minus the deposit) 7-13 days before camp date = 50% refund (minus the deposit)
