SCHOOL AGE CHILD CARE
Building Brighter Futures
The YMCA offers several child care programs. Whether you’re a new parent looking for someone to watch your child while you work out or need a fun, enriching place for your child to spend time after school until you get off work, the YMCA has programs aimed at helping to give your child the best chance at a bright future.
This is for the preschool after school program. It takes place at the LHC in the cafeteria from afterschool until 530pm when school is in session. Your child must be fully potty trained to attend. Months are not pro-rated. It is a flat fee for morning and after care for the month.

Who: must be going into 1st – 3rd Grade (For 25/26 School Year)
When: June 2nd – July 3rd 2025
Mon – Thurs Manchester Hours 12:30 pm – 5pm; Fridays 8a-3pm (Field trip day) * You may pick up earlier if needed.
Where: Manchester Elementary
Cost: Member $79 per child/per week; Non-Member $99 per child/per week
* $10 nonrefundable additional registration fee per child/per week to hold their spot*
FIELD TRIPS INCLUDE: Skyzone, Kids Empire, Ft. Wayne Zoo, Huntington Skating
Financial Assistance Available
We are proud to offer our summer learning labs! Five weeks of fun, high-quality academic and enrichment programming designed to support student growth, prevent summer learning loss, and keep students on track for the upcoming school year. Monday – Thursday: Students will receive 90 minutes of math enrichment and 90 minutes of reading enrichment; Friday’s will be field trip day! This is a FREE program with transportation provided by your school.
Lunch and a snack are provided. Activities may include rainforest play park, arts and crafts, field trips, movies and more. Bring a backpack or bag, bathing suit, towel, and water bottle. Must have current liability waiver on prior to participation.
Camp fees are due the Thursday before and must be made in the form of a scheduled automatic deduction via bank draft or credit card. Cancellation Policy – 14+ days – 100% refundable; 7-13 days – 50% refundable

The YMCA offers before and after-school care at local schools; the students receive a healthy snack, homework help, STEAM involvement, physical activities, and nutrition activities with fun mentors and teachers.

Week 7 – Buckner Park/ Splash Pad, France Park
Week 8 – Daleville Splash Pad/ Park, Dutch Creek Farms, Field of Dreams ( Foam Party)
Week 9- LC Nature Park, Gas City Park/ Splash Pad
PAYMENT POLICY: DEPOSIT – A $10 per week, non-refundable deposit is required for each child. The non-refundable deposit is not eligible for financial assistance.
CAMP FEES – Camp fees are due for each week the Thursday before by 5:00 pm and must be made in the form of a scheduled automatic deduction via a bank draft or credit card. Beginning July 1st, 2025 there will be a 3% fee for credit card payments.
CANCELATION POLICY (All cancellations must be made in writing to Brittany Burnett) 14+ days before camp date = 100% refund (minus the deposit) 7-13 days before camp date = 50% refund (minus the deposit)
